Bo helped to establish Burgess & Dudley, Inc., now B&D Electric, in 1998. The company has continued to grow and expand making it one of the most successful local companies in the area and throughout the southeast region. Bo is a State of Florida licensed electrical and general contractor and has more than 24 years of experience in the commercial, industrial and residential sectors of the electrical industry.
Born and raised in Newberry, FL and a graduate of Newbery High School, Bo’s local family ties to the area date back to the 1850’s. He and his wife Erika years have a daughter and a son. Bo enjoys spending time with family and hobbies include restoring antique vehicles, boating, fishing and hunting.
A native of Alachua County, FL Jeff has been in the electrical industry for over 24 years, becoming a state Certified Electrical Contractor in 2009. He has worked at B&D Electric for 14 years as an Estimator and currently serves as the General Superintendent.
Jeff is an electrical apprenticeship graduate from Santa Fe College with over 14 years of medium voltage experience, earning him certifications from both Raychem and Cooper. He takes an active role on all projects and has developed a regional reputation for delivering high quality electrical work.
In his free time you can find Jeff on his boat, “even if it’s just parked out in the shop”, says his wife Tanya Taylor, a teacher in Levy County. He finds peace fishing and even works as a guide at The Bienville Plantation in White Springs.
Shelby brings over 17 years of experience in both the commercial and residential electrical industries. Graduating from PK Yonge in Gainesville, Shelby went on to study electrical apprenticeship and welding technologies at Santa Fe College. He most recently became Generac Aircooled Service Certified. A lifelong resident of Micanopy, Shelby enjoys fishing, tending to his cows and spending time with his wife and daughter.
